Definition 

Occluded Renal Artery

Collateralization

The angiogram of the right renal artery following traumatic injury shows an occluded artery (bright red) with an intact capsular artery (bright pink) that gives rise to a capsular artery (bright pink) that gives rise to branches of the inferior adrenal but also serves to collateralize the intrarenal arterial system (dull red).

Traumatic Spasm with Transient Ischemia

This male patient presented with transient loss of pulses and cyanosis of the right foot following traumatic injury to his knee. This angiogram of the popliteal artery, (a, and magnified in b) show spasm and narrowing (red arrow) of the tibioperoneal trunk as well as beading of the artery (white arrows). No obvious intimal injury is identified.
